Grupo ESTISOL signs solar energy PPA with 360Energy

Updated: 5 days ago

The ESTISOL Group and 360Energy have formalized a significant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) ensuring the supply of 5 GWh of renewable energy per year for the next three years.

The energy supply will come from 360Energy's Generation Complex, which includes the 360Energy La Rioja Solar Complex and the Cañada Honda Solar Park. This will allow the ESTISOL Group's plants in CABA, NOVAPOL Pilar, Estisol Paperfood Pilar, and Estisol San Luis to be powered by renewable energy.

This agreement will enable 70% of the ESTISOL Group’s energy demand to be covered with renewable energy, with 360Energy providing 32% of that supply. In addition to ensuring a reliable and high-quality energy source, the agreement will have a positive environmental impact by preventing the emission of 2,250 tons of CO2e per year—equivalent to removing more than 500 cars from circulation annually. This solidifies 360Energy as a strategic partner in the decarbonization of the industrial sector.

“At 360Energy, we are proud to be part of the efforts of major companies like ESTISOL to reduce their carbon footprint and move towards a more sustainable future. Through our high-efficiency solar energy solutions, we continue to provide our clients with the quality, reliability, and positive environmental impact they expect,” said Maximiliano Ivanissevich, Corporate Affairs Director at 360Energy.

The ESTISOL Group's management remains committed to continuously improving its production processes, aligning its policies with international environmental standards such as the Kyoto Protocol. This PPA strengthens its leadership in adopting responsible energy practices, positioning the ESTISOL Group as a benchmark in sustainability.
